Summer is in full swing, which means the heat is in full force, the kids are running around, and the days just got a little bit longer and busier. Between their many summer activities and hanging out with friends, not to mention the stifling heat, it can be hard to find the time and motivation to make dinner or lunch when we are on the go. But our time to eat together is one of my favorite parts of the day and I know I just can’t let it slide. Plus, I don’t think my husband would be too happy to come home from work to find an empty dinner table! Fortunately, Walmart and Coca Cola know my pain and have teamed up to create Effortless Meals.

Effortless Meals are easy to pick up at any local Walmart, and they let me put a meal on the table without lots of time or effort. With meals like pizza, sandwiches, and rotisserie chicken, my boys are full and happy. We have been spending lots of time at the pool this summer so after a long day in the water, they look forward to something quick and yummy to fill their bellies and the pizza from Walmart is pretty good.

Each meal costs less than $15 and is enough to feed our entire family. Plus, we get to eat in the comfort of our own home instead of dealing with the stress of taking kids out to eat. Effortless meals give us more time to spend outside as a family. That’s where I would love to spend my summers, instead of slaving away in a hot kitchen.
